Laurent Simons is a Belgian-Dutch child with an IQ (Intelligent Quotient) of 142 who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physics from University of Antwerp in Belgium.
Simons did not only graduate with a bachelor’s degree but also with the highest distinction. He was able to accomplish this in just a year. In this post I will be writing about Simons biography and other facts about him.

In 2019, Laurent studied electrical engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology in Netherlands and was set to become the world’s youngest ever graduate beating “Michael Kearney” record but Simons was withdrawn from the University by his parents, after the University disclosed that he would not be able to meet up with the proposed deadline because of the exams he had to write. He was withdrawn on December 9, 2009.
However he is now the second youngest person to graduate (at age 11) with a degree in physics.
Laurent Simons Goal
Laurent when interviewed talked about his goal of achieving immortality he said: “Immortality, that is my goal. I want to be able to replace as many body parts as possible with mechanical parts. I have mapped out a path to get there. Quantum physics – the study of the smallest particles – is the first piece of the puzzle,”
“Two things are important in such a study: acquiring knowledge and applying that knowledge. To achieve the second, I want to work with the best professors in the world, look inside their brains and find out how they think,” he added.
Height and Weight
Simons has a weight measurement of 4 feet tall and weighs about 30kg (66 lbs).
