Why He Signed up for Love Island
Hugo gave a couple of reasons he signed up for Love Island. Here is what he said:
“I’ve been single for a while now,” he says. “With the current climate, it’s been really hard to get back into dating. I saw it as an opportunity to have an amazing fun summer and put myself back out there.”

Hugo has dated in his past and has gotten a lot of experience. When interviewed Hugo said:
“My past relationship was just over two years long, I’ve had a couple of other relationships in my past but not as serious,” he says. “And I went to university and I had a load of fun there.”
Hugo’s recent relationship ended early this year, due to distance and covid-19 lockdown.
However Hugo’s longest relationship was with his ex-girlfriend Millie Simmons, which lasted for two and half years.
