Omah Lay whose real name is Omah Stanley Didia was born on the 19th of May, 1997 in Port-Harcourt Rivers state Nigeria. At the time of this article Omah Lay is 23 years old. Omah Lay was born into a family with musical roots. His grandfather was a percussionist for one of Nigeria’s Igbo highlife musician “Celestine Ukwu” and played for him until the year 1977 when he was laid to rest. Omah Lay grew up in a family with deep musical roots, so began his love for music. Omah Lay starting rapping at the age of 15 on the streets of Marine Base in Port-Harcourt.
